Not only did we have a gorgeous couple to work with, we had a gorgeous day! The Cranwell Resort was beautiful, but the sky we had that day just made it pop! The first time to this venue, & I hope it’s not our last.
One of my favorite parts of the day is seeing the dress for the first time! It never ceases to amaze me how the little girl inside me still lights up on my first glance of the bride’s dress. The description Courtney gave me did no justice for seeing it in person. It was gorgeous, & with the yellow shoes…I was holding back from jumping up & down! Another one of my favorite things is when a bride decides to add some color w/ her shoes. It’s always a lot of fun & makes for great pics!
My second favorite thing is finding out the color scheme. I was super excited to hear they were using yellow as the accent color. It’s such a happy color & not as many people use it as they do w/ others. And with the black cocktail dresses for the bridesmaids, it looked amazing!
Isn’t she lovely!! I love this photo because despite the nerves & excitement she is feeling right before she sees Jonathan, she manages to stay calm & is just glowing!!

Since it was an evening ceremony, these black cocktail dresses were perfect & went amazing w/ the yellow theme! Great job Courtney w/ the color choice!!

Always a big cupcake fan. I’m a bit of a cupcake junky & unfortunately never got to try one of these. Don’t they just look absolutely scrumptious!!
This was one of my favorite moments of the reception. I just love Courtney’s face here as they attempt to cut a cupcake in half.
I think this has to be one of my favorite ring shots we’ve shot to date! And yes, Courtney not only got one, but 2 wedding bands! Love the bling!!
