Jon & Katie { Apple Barn Farm Wedding }

Wanted to share another fabulous wedding we shot @ the lovely Apple Barn Farm  from last October. This was a crazy day, as far as the weather is concerned. Just one week prior we shot a wedding here as well & it was so hot, & the bugs were @ an all time high. On this particular day, we had dark skies, blustery winds, & very chilly weather. I was so impressed w/ how well everyone managed to keep themselves from looking as if they were freezing ( a very hard thing to do sometimes ). We had met up w/ Jon & Katie a few months back on another cloudy, rainy day for their engagement photos. They were so cool about it though, & we made the best of it & had a blast. So, it didn’t surprise us that they were the same cool & collective pair on their wedding day, despite the less than ideal weather.

Katie grew up w/ the owners daughter of Apple Barn Farm, so they got ready just next door to the site (same spot as their e-session). I just love old farm houses, & this place is absolutely gorgeous. The beautiful, large windows let it some amazing light, despite it being overcast. Katie looked stunning in this light w/ her dress!

Loved these shoes! These definitely have comfort written all over them.

One of our favorite shots of a first look! Their faces are priceless & just love this moment to photograph. What an amazing job we have!!

Loved the color of her wrap. Just really pops in the photos & worked so well w/ the red from the barn.

Off to get married! This site is really beautiful, in just about all sorts of weather. Rain clouds or not, these two were getting married outdoors!

LOVED that we caught this moment. So touching & only reassures us what an awesome job we have. To capture such special moments like this in a photograph that they can look back @ for years to come.

The wind was so chilly, so we ran around the corner for some shelter @ a nearby barn they use to store hay for the horses. A perfect backdrop I do believe for this rustic, barn wedding!

Love the details they had to decorate the cocktail area. The yellow added the perfect pop of color on this gray day.

Great favor idea. They had various herbs in cute, little tins on everyones plate. Loved the assortment of vintage plates as well.

Again, if you are in doubt weather or not to include the photobooth @ your reception, I think these photos speak for themselves whether or not it’ll be a hit!

Thank you again to Jon & Katie for letting us capture your beautiful wedding day! You two are sweethearts & we wish you all the best in your marriage for years to come.
